They began in 1976. The first record "Mezclalina" is the one I like
the most, with a high standard of musicality. The band has had
occasional collaborations from a impressive local guitarrist
"Lito" who has a very elaborated technic with the guitar, a good
musician indeed. (?)
They are an institution in Málaga, representatives ofl rock, blues, soul
and the fusion of the music plenty of personality the band makes,
hardly to be filed by the professionals. Supported by great words,
a number of them conceived by the poet from Málaga Juan Miguel
González. Mezclalina was their first back in 1979. For RCA! It was a
good beginning or so it seemed because RCA did a bad work with the
recording and did not provide any support or promotion. They released
roughly 600 copies of the vinyl, becoming a collector's item. The LP has
3 songs on side "A" and two on "B", as follows:
Tipos duros, Ininteligible, Mezclalina, Zero-Zero and La Guerra. Each of
having its own history.
.
Tabletom is still alive after so many years and through the generations. Some
of us go to their concerts with our children, because we appreciate
the work well done, good music and the artistic quality of these
forgotten musicians from Málaga.
