It had been a long time, I would say that since the discovery in 2003 of Maroon (Ed) from Madrid, that I had not heard anything as good as what these guys from Santander have done.

CRAYOLASER and his album "Oh Perra Vida de Brote!", Which turns out to be his fourth album after "SuperPsychedelicScoobyAlidoso" (2010), "This is the Batiscaf" (2011) and "Crayolaser" (2013).

Their style is seventies, they sound like Genesis and Gentle Giant, with psychedelic moments and good instrumental arrangements, even when they incorporate classical music they remind me of FRUUPP.

"Oh Perra Vida de Brote!" It is a work of a conceptual nature of about 40 minutes in length, they turn and turn over the same melodies and harmonies, to raging and mysterious moments, other heirs of the Hippie era of the late 60's, with a transgressive tone in the vocal parts by Íñigo Bregel, which gives it a quite original touch.

The best songs, the surprising "Brote I", the transgressive "Si no sé yo me lo pienso", the genesian interlude of "Brote II" or the martiality of "Omabi" and the one that closes and gives the album title, Oh perra vida de brote!

In short, we are facing a job that raises the level of the Spanish prog. Fresh air and above all hope for the future.
